BernerFilm was founded by Arvin N. Berner in 2007 to continue his exploration and passion for the motion picture art. BernerFilm has produced numerous projects including the short films Colonel Richards, Beyond the Past, and Mirror. After those experiences Arvin decided to write, produce and direct a low-budget feature film. That vision came to fruition with the movie Checkmate. BernerFilm continues to move forward and is developing several feature projects. BernerFilm’s vision is, “Lighting the World, One Movie at a Time.”

In addition to his work with movies, Arvin is a performing musician and dedicated music educator. He is president of the Stanislaus Branch Music Teacher’s Association of California, and Director of Music at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. In his spare time Arvin enjoys photography and working on cars. His online gallery is linked below.
